In GK’s fabrication department we have invested in several pieces of equipment to assist in the development and building of variety of tanks. Along with CNC Machining, Fabrication, and expert Finishing; GK Tanks division utilizes the following specialized fabrication equipment to accurately manufacture tanks to precise standards:
Fabrication
Our experienced fabricators are dedicated to extreme precision and building quality products. We perform virtually every required metal fabrication process for a variety of industries. With over 30 welding cells and full fabrication machinery, our welders are certified to meet MIG and TIG welding requirements. GK fabricates with carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum material.
DAVI Tank Roller
The CNC operated MAX model roll forming machine can handle ultra-light gauges as well as thicker applications. The Davi Roll Forming 3R Max Series is designed to pre-bend and roll cylinders and cones. It clamps the material and pre-bends with minimum amount of residual flat end and straight edge. Full hydraulic movement and multiple independent hydraulic motors increase surface speed and ease of material handling.
DAVI Fit-Up Roller
The new DAVI Tank Fit-up Roller system is integrated with the ESAB cab welding system which allows GK Machine to weld large tanks quickly and efficiently while improving employee safety. This new machine is capable of reducing weld time by 30 percent, and with more consistency than manual welders, the Fit-Up Roller system is all hydraulic making it very simple for the operator to fit up tanks and to individually adjusts the rollers. The hydraulic system helps keep the tank round and seams tight.
Automatic Tank Welder
The ESAB welding production system offers GK Machine the opportunity to achieve improvements in productivity and quality compared to conventional welding processes. This new machine can weld materials at speeds up to ten times faster with heat input reduced by 80-90%. That means it greatly reduces distortion thus eliminating down-stream production costs.
The flexible, modular column, and booms provide GK Machine with a complete operational hybrid welding solution, which is being incorporated into our specialized product offerings for fuel tanks, cones and other large products
Automatic Lip Roller
This single tool creates both sharp creases and soft curves along the edges of sheet metal creating an even ‘lip’ for the ends of tanks. The built in back stop allows for a smooth and consistent rolled edge, perfect for building tanks of all sizes and shapes.

During the design process, customers work with experienced salesperson to understand and review your tank needs based on the location, size, fuel needs, or fertilizer type.
